Cazenovia, NY

GoogleTM My Town | Cazenovia NY

Built by Google Trusted Photographers Using Street View Technology

What are (Google) Virtual Area Guides?

They are the next generation in leveraging Google Street View technology to market local businesses.  Google Trusted Photographers bring their camera with a 360 degree mount.  Then, walking the main streets, we capture the sidewalks, attractions, parks, businesses, and more.  We take these and publish them to Google Maps.  Then, using our interactive tour software, we create a menu-driven Virtual Area Guide with those virtual tours.

How does the Area Guide Work?

Use the menu to navigate to different businesses or street addresses, or use the arrows to navigate up and down the streets.  Individual businesses with a tour inside have labeled arrows to enter their business.  See what the town has to offer your up-coming trip experience before you even go!

What Towns and Cities have you done?

Currently we are in production of upwards of ten Virtual Area Guides.  All will have their own Blog page and posts featuring the most recently added Main Streets and local businesses.  Some towns that will have working Virtual Area Guides by the end of June 2014 are Ithaca, Baldwinsville, and East Aurora.  Others that are on the schedule and will be done shortly after that are, Fayetteville, Cobleskill, Schenectady, New Paltz, and dozens of others.

The Completed Projects

Phase one projects did not contain the Main Street Views as the newer ones have, however their guides are much more extensive in size and geographic coverage.  You can see these working guides from three different popular areas.  Visit Buffalo, Visit Rochester, and Visit State College, PA.
